syllipsi was founded in 2007.

ironically, the kick-off resulted from owner, Kristy Straub (life-long afficianado of all things photography) and her vigorous pursuit of a fantastic wedding photographer for her own wedding.

unfortunately, her pursuit was in vain, as she and her new hubby were less than impressed with the product they received and totally disgusted with the business practices of the company they trusted to be an intimate part of one of the most special days of their lives.

depressing as this story may be, it was the final push she needed to jump into the industry and do things better!

since then, we're proud to say we've
attended many a wedding,
seen many a baby bump,
and chased down many a toddler!

we don't just snap pictures;
we develop relationships,
we follow through on our promises

that make life beautiful,
